De Oude Geuze Coigneau is een authentieke Oude Geuze, waarbij een van de lambieken gebrouwen werd met een unieke combinatie van overjaarse hop en verse "Coigneau" hop. Deze oude hopsoort, die lang verdwenen was uit de brouwwereld, wordt nu opnieuw geteeld in de regio Asse-Aalst. Coigneau hop staat bekend om zijn lage bitterheid en typisch aroma dat goed aansluit bij de smaak van Oude Geuze en witbier. Florale, kruidige en milde citrus-achtige aroma’s in de lambiek worden aangenaam versterkt. Dankzij de milde intensiteit kunnen we de hop vers gebruiken, waardoor de aroma’s in deze Oude Geuze nog beter tot hun recht komen."
