Dark Sour Ale brewed with oak smoked malts. After boiling the beer was allowed to cool down with the night air in a coolship. After one year in barrels this beer came with notes of bitter chocolate, wood and blood orange.

For this small blend 01-2021 we have used cherries and sloeberries picked by ourselves as well as black currants from local organic farmer Maria Plage.

Amaro Ale. "Inspired by European bitter liquors and gruit culture we brewed this botanical beer with a gripping interplay of bitterness and sourness. Gentian root gives the beer its distinctive character and is rounded out with hogweed, lemon verbena and bog myrtle. Aged in red wine barrels for an average of 19 months. Blend 2022 is tamer than the former batch.

To what we added organic blackberries and let it mature two months further. The beer shows fruity, jammy notes with some beeswax and black pepper spice. Bottled May 2022. 420 bottles."
