"Kriek 2021 with Merlot grapes. During the 2021 cherry harvest, we processed 3 different varieties of cherries. This blend mainly contains Noordkriek and a small amount of Kelleris. This from local growers in the Antwerp region, a fruit region that has almost completely disappeared but has recently seen some new initiatives. The maturation took place in ex-Bourgogne and ex-Bordeaux casks. The Merlot we used is the barrel aged version of our Pet Bière 2021. After a period of 9 months in an ex-Bourgogne and ex-lambic barrel. The name of this beer was chosen just a few days before the sale, after a difficult period for many of us. 2022 will go down in history as a Bloedrood (bloody red)/gitzwart year. And also a tribute to the healthcare sector that has given blood, sweat and tears."

100% Gelber Muskateller. "Method: After a maceration on full cluster for a few hours, the grapes were pressed and then completely transferred to a stainless steel tank. There the wine continued to ferment and mature on its coarse lees for 8 months. The bottling was done with as little oxygen and movement as possible to keep the wine fresh and crisp." "Probably one of our most experimental blends we did so far. We infused a blend of red wine barrel aged ciders with rose petals and fig leaves. To add color and and extra dimension it was backblended with a small amount of red beetroot cider."
